ArmInfo. In H 2021, the production volumes of alcoholic beverages produced in Armenia show an upward trend. According to the data of the Statistical Committee of  the Republic of Armenia, the volume of absolutely all alcoholic  beverages produced in Armenia increased during the reporting period.

ArmInfo.In Armenia, the specific debt burden per capita by July 1, 2021 had already reached $ 3 thousand from $ 2.6 thousand a year earlier. Moreover, the per capita  debt burden from external debt increased from $ 2 thousand to $ 2.3  thousand. At the same time, the population of Armenia has increased  over the year by only 1.6 thousand people - p to 2.965 million people  by July 1, 2021.

ArmInfo. The industrial sector of Armenia in H1 2021 increased production volumes by 2.1% (against 1.5% growth a year earlier), exceeding 1 trillion drams (about $ 2  billion). According to the data of the Statistical Committee of the  Republic of Armenia, in June alone, the industry showed a decline of  0.9% to 195.8 billion drams ($ 381.6 million).

ArmInfo.In Armenia, in H1 2021, 3.822 million kWh electricity were generated, with a y-o-y growth of 0.5% (against 4.4% growth a year earlier). According to the  Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, in June alone,  electricity generation decreased by 8.2% - to 511.7 million kWh.

Real  inflation will also increase - to 7.4% in 2021 from 1.3% in 2020, in  the next two years it will decline and in 2023 will drop to 4.5%.  These are the new forecasted figures of the Central Bank of Armenia.

On August 4, Yerevan hosted an event dedicated to the official launch of the  pan-Armenian online sales platform www.buyarmenian.com. In June of this year, by June 2020, economic  activity increased by 8% (against a decline of 12.8% a year earlier),  while in June 2021 alone it accelerated growth to 12% from May 2%  (against a less noticeable acceleration of growth in May 2020 from  13.3 % to 14.8%).

ArmInfo.Armenia's foreign trade turnover in January-June 2021 amounted to $ 3.6 billion, with an improvement in y-o-y dynamics to 13.4% growth (from a 10.7% decline a  year earlier). Moreover, higher growth was shown by exports (23.3%)  than imports (7.9%), with the trend emerging from the downward 6.5%  and 12.9%, respectively, a year earlier. According to the final data  of the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the volume  of exports reached $ 1.4 billion, and imports- $ 2.2 billion.

In the consumer market of Armenia in July 2021, y-o-y inflation increased to 8.2% (from 1.5% a year earlier), due to an increase in prices for food products  (including alcohol and cigarettes) by 13.1% and non-food products by  9.6 %, with an increase in tariffs for services by 1.8%, while a year  earlier (July 2020 to July 2019) there was an increase in the price  of food products by 2.1% and an increase in tariffs for services by  1.4%, while the prices of non-food products remained unchanged. This  is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee.
