The four telecom operators of Armenia reduced tax payments to the state treasury in the first quarter of 2021 by 8.6% per annum-up to 7.4 billion drams.   In particular, 23.2 million drams were paid for customs duties in the  reporting period, 1.8 billion drams for direct taxes (including  income tax, income tax), and 3.6 billion drams for indirect taxes  (including VAT, excise tax). This is evidenced by the list of the  largest taxpayers of Armenia published by the State Revenue Committee  of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.The list of 1000 major taxpayers of Armenia in the first quarter of 2021, as well as a year earlier, continues to be headed by Gazprom Armenia, which paid  18.7 billion drams to the state treasury (with an annual increase of  5.6%), of which 21.2 million drams - for customs duties, 1.4 billion  drams. AMD-for direct taxes (including income tax, income tax), AMD  16.9 billion-for indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax). This is  evidenced by the published data of the State Revenue Committee of the  Republic of Armenia.

State agencies are on the list of large taxpayers in Armenia

Since the first quarter of 2021, state agencies have appeared on the list of 1000 large taxpayers in Armenia, which transferred to the state treasury a total of about 26 billion drams, or 10% of the total amount (260.2 billion drams)  presented in the list of large taxpayers.  Among the state agencies  in terms of tax deductions to the state treasury, the RA Ministry of  Defense is in the lead - 15.1 billion drams (2nd position in the  general list), of which 12.8 billion for income tax and 1.99 billion  for VAT.
