ArmInfo.  Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Stella Renita, the newly appointed Head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Regional Office  for the South Caucasus. According to the government's press service,  after congratulating Renita on her appointment, the Deputy Prime  Minister praised the established cooperation with the EIB and  emphasized the importance of jointly implemented programs.

ArmInfo.  A meeting of the intergovernmental commission on financial and technical cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Republic of Germany  was held in Berlin. According to the press service of the RA Ministry  of Economy, the commission was chaired on the Armenian side by  Minister Gevorg Papoyan, and on the German side by State Secretary of  the Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation of the  Federal Republic of Germany Niels Annen.

ArmInfo.In the first half of 2025, Armenia saw a slowdown in the decline of  aluminum foil exports, with a year-on-year decline  decreasing from 22.8% to 8.7%, totaling 9.2 thousand tons. Meanwhile, the customs value of exported foil increased by 29.3% year- on-year (compared to a 36% decline the  previous year), amounting to $40.8 million, according to data from the RA Customs Service.

ArmInfo.In the first half of 2025, Armenia reduced gold exports by 82% (compared to a 12-fold increase the previous year) to 10,646 kg. According to data  from the Armenian Customs Service, the customs value decreased by 75.3%, exceeding $1 billion. 

ArmInfo.In the first half of 2025, Armenia nearly halved its diamond exports and imports (compared to a 2.5-fold increase the previous year) to 231,100 and  239,800 carats, respectively. The customs value in both cases decreased by 85%, to $59.8 million for exports and $64.7 million for imports, according to data from the RA Customs Service.

ArmInfo.As a result of increasing the cashback threshold for the pensioner cashback program from 12% to 20%, citizens' pensions will increase by 3,000-4,000 rubles, as stated by Arsen Torosyan, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, during the draft state budget debates in the National  Assembly on October 30.

ArmInfo.  During its regular meeting on October 30, the Government of Armenia approved the draft decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia  on  technical  cooperation with the German government, concluded in the  form of an exchange of applications.

ArmInfo.The budget for the implementation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs programs in 2026 will be increased by 9.6%, or 87.4 billion drams, as  stated by Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan during the draft state budget debates in the National Assembly on October  30. Of this amount, the lion's share - 590.8 billion, or 59.5% - is allocated to the pension budget, with 244 billion drams for the  funded system. The funding for this program has been increased by 30.5 billion drams, or 5.4%.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian government is extending the temporary ban on the movement of certain goods from the Republic of Armenia to Eurasian Economic Union member  states and on their export to third countries. The decision was made  by the Cabinet of Ministers during its regular session on October 30.

The draft  resolution  on approving measures to organize the procurement of  Areni and Voskehat grapes in 2025 was adopted during a regular  session on October 30.

ArmInfo.  During its regular session on October 30,  the Armenian government approved the signing of loan and grant agreements under the Transformative Housing  Reforms for Improved Vitality and Empowerment (THRIVE) program  between the Republic of Armenia and the Asian Development Bank.

ArmInfo.  South Caucasus Railways continues to implement its investment program to modernize its railway infrastructure, including replacing a bridge structure  near the city of Armavir on October 29. The bridge, which had served  for over a century, was renovated in an extremely short timeframe-15  hours which minimized disruptions to train schedules. This was stated  in a company statement.

ArmInfo.  On October 30, at its regular meeting, the Armenian government approved the proposal to sign a Financing Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the  European Commission on "Strengthening Nuclear Safety and Radiation  Protection in Armenia."
