Armenia`s vice-premier, EIB representative discuss new areas of  cooperation

Aluminum foil exports  decreased in Armenia while maintaining their  customs value

ArmInfo.In the first half of 2025, Armenia saw a slowdown in the decline of  aluminum foil exports, with a year-on-year decline  decreasing from 22.8% to 8.7%, totaling 9.2 thousand tons. Meanwhile, the customs value of exported foil increased by 29.3% year- on-year (compared to a 36% decline the  previous year), amounting to $40.8 million, according to data from the RA Customs Service.

Armenia`s diamond trade decreased  by almost 50% in the first half of  2025

ArmInfo.In the first half of 2025, Armenia nearly halved its diamond exports and imports (compared to a 2.5-fold increase the previous year) to 231,100 and  239,800 carats, respectively. The customs value in both cases decreased by 85%, to $59.8 million for exports and $64.7 million for imports, according to data from the RA Customs Service.

Arsen Torosyan: 420,000 citizens to benefit from pensioner cashback  program by the end of next year

Social Ministry`s program budget to be increased by 9.6% in 2026

ArmInfo.The budget for the implementation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs programs in 2026 will be increased by 9.6%, or 87.4 billion drams, as  stated by Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan during the draft state budget debates in the National Assembly on October  30. Of this amount, the lion's share - 590.8 billion, or 59.5% - is allocated to the pension budget, with 244 billion drams for the  funded system. The funding for this program has been increased by 30.5 billion drams, or 5.4%.

New bridgework near Armavir - South Caucasus Railway

ArmInfo.  South Caucasus Railways continues to implement its investment program to modernize its railway infrastructure, including replacing a bridge structure  near the city of Armavir on October 29. The bridge, which had served  for over a century, was renovated in an extremely short timeframe-15  hours which minimized disruptions to train schedules. This was stated  in a company statement.

EU to allocate EUR 5mln for enhancing Armenia`s nuclear safety and  radiation protection
