ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Armenia has once again decided to keep the refinancing rate at 6.75%. This decision was made on November 4 at a meeting of the Central Bank Board. This is the sixth time in 2025 that the Central Bank has kept the key rate unchanged. The first was made in March (following a reduction in February from 7% to 6.75%), followed by the following decisions in May, June, August, September, and this November.

In 2026, slightly over 400 billion drams are planned to be allocated to the needs of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, which represents 11.6% of the total expenditures of next year's draft state budget. This was announced by Zhanna Andreasyan, head of the ministry, during discussions of the draft 2026 state treasury at a meeting of joint committees of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
