ArmInfo.The Ombudsman of Armenia appealed to the Constitutional Court in view of the fact that the Tax Code does not provide for a flexible mechanism for imposing
fines for violation of the rules for the use of cash registers (CMC),
but establishes fixed amounts of fines without taking into account
the circumstances of a particular offense. The Human Rights Defender
announced this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Revenue in the communication sector of Armenia in January-October 2020 amounted to 118.2 billion drams, having decreased by 3.1% in y-o-y terms (against
growth by 1.1% a year earlier). According to the RA Statistical
Committee, the dominant telecommunications segment (90.7%) provided
revenues of 107.1 billion drams, accelerating the y-o-y decline from
2.6% to 2.8%.

earlier), to 12,271.5 thousand tons. Of these, 8,086.8 thousand tons

According to the Statistics Committee of Armenia, in October alone,
the production of aluminum foil increased by 4.1% - up to 3,054 tons.

ArmInfo.Industrial production in Armenia in January-October 2020 slowed down the y-o-y growth rate from 8.8% to 0.5%, amounting to 1.627 trillion drams ($
3.3 billion). A significant slowdown in the growth of industrial
production is due to the continuing decline in the manufacturing
industry. According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of
Armenia, only in October 2020, industrial production increased its
volumes by 3.2%, ensuring the volume of 194.7 billion drams ($ 396.1
million).
