ArmInfo. In Armenia's foreign trade turnover, the leadership is held by Russia with a volume of $ 656.9 million in January-April 2021, with an acceleration of y-o-y growth  from 2% to 2.4%. Russia retains leadership not only in this  indicator, but also in exports and imports - $ 220.9 million and $  436 million, respectively, with the change of the y-o-y export  dynamics from 11.3% decline to 20.9% growth with a change of the  import trend from 8.1% growth for 4.9% decline. Telecommunications sector revenue in Armenia grows

Armenia`s industrial sector slowly recovers from coronavirus crisis

ArmInfo. In January-April 2021, the industrial sector of Armenia showed insignificant growth due to the continuing decline in the manufacturing industry since the  outbreak of the pandemic. According to the data of the Statistical  Committee, during the reporting period, the industrial sector of  Armenia increased its volumes by 0.9% (against 4.2% growth in the  previous year), providing the volume of 650.8 billion drams (over $  1.2 billion). In April alone, the industrial sector showed an  increase of 2.1% - up to 180.4 billion drams ($ 343.2 million).

Armenia`s public debt is approaching $ 9 billion

ArmInfo.Armenia's public debt accelerated growth in January-April 2021 to 10.4% (from 1.4% growth a year earlier), reaching $ 8.8 billion. According to preliminary data  of the RA Ministry of Finance, published by the RA Statistical  Committee, Armenia's external debt increased by 9.8%, exceeding $ 6.7  billion, and domestic debt - by 6.8%, exceeding $ 2 billion, while a  year earlier the decline in external debt by 1.7% was accompanied by  an increase in domestic debt by 13.3%.

Electricity generation in Armenia slows down annual growth rate

According to the  preliminary data of the Statistical Committee of the Republic of   Armenia, in the sectoral breakdown, growth was demonstrated by all   sectors, except for the service sector, and data on the agricultural   sector are published in the statistical report only on a quarterly   basis.
