ArmInfo. Trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Armenia has reached a very high level, with Russia accounting for approximately 33% of the country's foreign trade. ArmInfo. Armenia's communications sector growth slowed slightly in 2025, from 2.8% to 2.7%, generating revenue of 171.5 billion drams. According to the RA Statistics Committee, in December 2025 alone, the communications sector demonstrated 8.5% growth, generating revenue of 15.7 billion drams.

ArmInfo. In 2025, Armenia generated 10,010.3 million kWh of electricity, up 6.7% from the previous year. According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, electricity generation increased by 19.4% in December alone, reaching 1,008.5 million kWh.

ArmInfo. Armenia's metallurgical industry is projected to slow in growth from 1% to a stagnant 0.2% in 2025, maintaining the same average production  volumes as in 2024.

ArmInfo. Armenia's industrial sector demonstrated growth of 4.7% in 2025 (the same as the previous year), reaching 3.3 trillion drams ($8.6 billion) in  January-December.

ArmInfo.  In Armenia, economic activity growth accelerated to 9.2% annually in January-December 2025 (from 8% in 2024). Meanwhile, foreign trade contracted at a  double-digit rate, compared to strong growth a year ago. According to  the final data from the RA Statistics Committee, the main growth  drivers were the construction and services sectors, with slightly  moderate contributions from the energy, agricultural, and industrial  sectors.

ArmInfo. The Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has made it possible for pensioners to apply for a bank card online. Furthermore, the ministry promises to  distribute bank cards to pensioners with limited mobility. This was  announced by Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan on  February 5 during a briefing, responding to a question from ArmInfo.

ArmInfo.   Not a single public multiplex company will be profitable in 2025? This was stated by Tigran Hakobyan, Chairman of the National Television and Radio  Commission (NTRC), during a press conference on February 5.

ArmInfo.  The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia is proposing amendments to the Tax Code that will address issues facing businesses regarding value-added tax  (VAT) and income tax payments.

ArmInfo. . Residents of Armenia who have turned 100 or will turn 100 this year will receive a one-time payment of 1 million drams (slightly over $2,500). The  corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on February  5.
