ArmInfo.Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") has today assigned Ba3 foreign and local-currency insurance financial strength ratings (IFSRs) to Export Insurance  Agency of Armenia ICJSC (EIA).

Thus,  according to the Bureau of Motor Insurers of Armenia, their number  increased by 9.6% per annum in 2021, with an exit from the 12.4%  decline in 2020, but so far is much inferior to the pre-Covid  ascending 18.5% in 2019.

ArmInfo.In 2021, the investments of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Armenia were a record-breaking- $175 million. This became  known following the meeting of  Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan  Kerobyan with the Bank's delegation headed by Regional Director  Catarina Bjorlin Hansen .  As Vahan Kerobyan wrote on his Facebook  page, out of the indicated amount, only $20 million falls on public  programs, the remaining amount was directed to the development of the  private sector.

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Economy announced the launch of a program to assist the textile industry in Armenia. According to the press service of the Ministry,  the program is being implemented in Armenia with the financing of the  "Good Governance Fund" of the United Kingdom government, with the  support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development  (EBRD), in cooperation with the Business Assistance Office. The  program is aimed at the sustainable, inclusive development of the  textile industry in Armenia.

ArmInfo.For 2022, the Armenian government has set a 7% economic growth target. Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan stated this in an interview on  January 18. In this regard, he stressed that this position is  unified, all actions and activities of the Ministry of Economy and  the government of the country will be directed to its implementation.
