ArmInfo.In the first half of 2021, the banking system of Armenia sent over 30 billion drams or $ 60.6 million to the state treasury through taxes, which is 19.4% more
than a year ago. Of this amount, over 85.9% or 25.8 billion drams was
paid under direct taxes (including income tax and tax on profit),
with an increase of 13.4% over the year. According to the data of the
RA State Revenue Committee, in the total volume of payments of 1000
large taxpayers in Armenia, 17 banks account for 5.1%.

ArmInfo. Four telecom operators of Armenia paid taxes to the budget for the first half of 2021 a total of 17.7 billion drams ($ 35.7 million), which is lower than a
year ago by 12.8%. Of this amount, 5.7 billion were paid as direct
taxes (including income tax, tax on profit) and 8.1 billion - on
indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).

In June of this year. by June 2020, economic activity increased by 8% (against a decline of 12.8% a year earlier), while in June 2021 alone it accelerated growth to 12% from May 2% (against a less noticeable acceleration of growth in May 2020 from 13.3 % to 14.8%).
