Ministry of Economy of Armenia expects that ferry service to start  operating in Q1 2023

ArmInfo. In the first quarter of 2023, a ferry service will be launched from the Georgian port of Poti to the Russian port of Kavkaz. Deputy Minister of Economy of the  Republic of Armenia Narek Teryan in an interview with the Public  Television of Armenia expressed a similar opinion.

Armenia`s gross international reserves move down from historical high

ArmInfo.Armenia's gross international reserves (GIR) decreased in November 2022 by 3.2% or $115.1 million (against a 5.5% decline in November 2021), amounting  to $3.518 billion, thereby continuing to move down from the  historical maximum recorded in September. In parallel with this, the  y-o-y growth of gross international reserves slowed down  significantly - from 33% to 16.2% (or by $491.7 million in November  2022 compared to November 2021).

Armenia`s tax revenues AMD 1,926bln in 2022

Last year, Armenia's budget tax revenues totaled AMD 1,926bln, which exceeds the revised target, AMD 1,894.3bln, by 1.7% and the previously set target, AMD 1,843.9bln, by 4.4%.  According to the data available as of December  31, 2022, tax revenues of Armenia's state budged exceeded those in  2021 by AMD 339.1bln or by 26.4%, those in 2020 by AMD 540.8bln or by  39%, those in 2019, by AMD 461.7bln or by 31.5%, those in 2018, by  AMD 667.9bln or by 53.1%.
