26,768 babies born in Armenia in  first 10 months

ArmInfo. In Armenia, 26,768 babies were born in January-October 2025, showing a 4.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The birth rate per  1,000 inhabitants for the reporting period was 10.4 per thousand, down from 11.1 per thousand in the same period of 2024, according to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Armenia`s service sector revenue reached $8.6 billion

ArmInfo. In Armenia, the service sector saw an increase in its annual growth from 5.8% to 10.8% in January-October 2025, reaching 3.3 trillion drams ($8.6  billion). According to the RA Statistics Committee, in October alone, the volume of services provided increased by 1.8% to 366 billion drams ($956.3 million).

ArmInfo. In the Armenian interbank foreign exchange market from December 1 to 5, 2025, dollar transactions decreased, while the ruble transactions significantly increased. Euro transactions have been on hold for seven months. Specifically, the decline in dollar transactions lingered at 24%,  while the growth of ruble transactions accelerated sharply from 57% to 2.1 times,  allowing the weekly volume of ruble transactions to  maintain its dominance over dollar transactions, with the gap widening from 1.2 times to 3.6 times.

ArmInfo.  Armenia generated 8,156.9 million kWh of electricity in January-October 2025,  a 7.9% increase compared to the same period last year, as evidenced  by data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia. In  October alone, power generation decreased by 5.4% to 801.3 million  kWh.
