ArmInfo. Mikolai Vinitsky, a dual Belarusian-Russian investor, has announced that, on  27 July 2026, he served a Notice of Intent to Submit Claims to  Arbitration on the Republic of Armenia, formally notifying the  Government of Armenia of an investment dispute arising under three  investment protection treaties.  The investor's statement was  published by Iveta Tonoyan, press secretary of Gagik Tsarukyan's  Prosperous Armenia Party, on  her Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  According to the World Bank (WB) forecast, the poverty level in Armenia, calculated on the basis of purchasing power parity (PPP)  at  $8.3 per person per  day (2021 PPP), will continue to decline, reaching 43% by 2028. For  2026, the country's poverty level is projected to drop to 44.9% (down  from an estimated 46.4% in 2025, against 47.4% in 2024) and further  to 44% in 2027. As noted in a statement released today by the Central Bank of Armenia, the rating agency made this decision yesterday.  Moody's based the change in Armenia's sovereign rating outlook on the following key factors:  Reducing geopolitical and political risks. a material reduction in political risks underpinned by a lower probability of renewed large-scale hostilities with Azerbaijan, the normalization of relations with Turkey. a rebalancing of external relations toward a more diversified set of partners, and contained domestic political risks
