ArmInfo. In Armenia, the industrial price index increased from 102% to 108.9% in January-April 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. This was observed against the backdrop of an improvement in the annual dynamics of the industrial sector, from a 16.1% decline to a 13% increase, achieving a volume of 1.003 trillion drams ($2.7 billion).

ArmInfo.  Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia,  expressed confidence that the regulator's prudent monetary policy will bring the inflation rate back to its  target levels in the medium term. He made this statement today at a  press-briefing.

ArmInfo. In the Armenian interbank foreign exchange market, dollar transactions declined,  while ruble transactions soared from May 18 to 22, 2026. Euro transactions haven't been conducted for over three months.  Specifically, the trend in dollar transactions reversed from a 45.2% increase to a 74.4% drop, while the trend in ruble transactions reversed from a 23.1% decline to a significant 6.6-fold increase.

Sargent and Lundy, working with Armenian officials, completed a pre-feasibility study to assess the  viability of replacing the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) unit  with advanced U.S. SMR technology.
