Armenia to attract EUR 75 million from French Development Agency to  finance state budget deficit

ArmInfo.Armenia will attract 75 million euros from the French Development Agency (Agence Francaise  de Developpement -AFD) to finance the state budget deficit. At a meeting on June 20, the RA government decided to sign a corresponding agreement with the AFD, the signing ceremony of which is scheduled  for June 26.

IMF Executive Board completes Third Review under Stand-By Arrangement  with Armenia

ArmInfo.The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) completed the third review  under the Stand-By Arrangement (SBA) with Armenia. The completion of the review enables access of SDR 18.4 million (about US$24.5 million), bringing total access to SDR 73.6 million (about US$97.7 million). The SBA was approved by the IMF's Board on December 12, 2022 (see Press Release No. 22/429). The Armenian authorities  continue to treat the arrangement as precautionary. The Executive Board's decision on the third review of the SBA was taken without a meeting.

Armenian government, KfW to extend loan programme

At a meeting on June 20, the RA Government exempted the company from paying customs duties on imported technological  equipment, its components and components, raw materials and materials.

AMD 600mln to be allocated for housing programme for large families

EDB forecasts downtrend in GDP growth to 5%

ArmInfo. By next 2025, the Eurasian Development  Bank (EDB) predicts a decrease in Armenia's GDP growth rate to 5% due  to the absence of any other impulses that could accelerate economic  growth. Anton Dolgovechny, senior analyst at the Country Analysis  Center of the EDB Analytical Directorate, stated this at the online  presentation of the analytical report "Macroeconomic Forecast 2024-  2026".

Air Cairo airline launches Cairo-Yerevan-Cairo flights

European Commission to provide EUR 15mln to Armenia for forcibly  displaced Armenians

ArmInfo. The European Commission will provide Armenia with 15 million euros to overcome the  socio-economic difficulties caused by the influx of refugees from  Nagorno-Karabakh. At a meeting on June 20, the RA Government approved  a draft decree of the RA President on the approval of the agreement  on budget support, signed on February 15 and April 16 of this year.

USA interested in restoration of flood-destroyed bridges
