ArmInfo.The State Revenue Committee of Armenia (SRC) is planning  to implement a smart customs administration system, that will enable a transition from linear risk management to a model based on machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), as stated by Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the SRC, speaking at the Doing Digital forum.

ArmInfo.The share of Armenia's top five trading partners-Russia, China, the UAE, Iran, and Germany-decreased in January-February 2026 to a combined 53% of total turnover (down from 64% in January-February 2024), reaching $1.6 billion in absolute terms.

This was announced on April 8 at a meeting of the RA National Assembly's Committee on  Economic Affairs by Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the RA State Revenue  Committee, who presented amendments to the Law "On Customs  Regulation" in the first reading.
