ArmInfo. The deadline for contributing funds to the authorized capital of the World Trade Center Yerevan CJSC being created is postponed for 15 days. The decision on this was made at the meeting of the RA government on August 15.

ArmInfo. Starting from August 15 this year, the Central Bank of Armenia will put into circulation the transformed 5,000 and 10,000 dram banknotes of the 2024 issue. This was noted in the press release of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.On August 7, employees of IDBank and Idram visited the "Horizon" camp organized by the "Powerful Mind" NGO in the village of Marmarik, Kotayk region. The camp's main sponsor, “The Power of One Dram" initiative, directed the funds collected in June, totaling AMD 4,046,161, to support the camp. Thanks to this contribution, approximately 100 young people aged 14 to 19 from the regions, as well as from Artsakh and Javakhk, had the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, interact with experts, and establish valuable connections.

ArmInfo. Former head of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia David Ananyan believes that the latest legislative initiative of the SRC to abolish incentive norms for exemption from criminal liability may become a "bad precedent", lead to the creation of uncertainty and obstacles for business, which, in turn, will have a negative impact on economic stability and the legal trust of entrepreneurs in the system.

ArmInfo. In the first half of  2024, Armenia's IT sector shrank by approximately 13%. The main  reason, according to former Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan, is the  missed opportunities that were available to us.

ArmInfo. The Armenian Securities  Exchange (AMX) and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) signed a  memorandum of understanding aimed at establishing mutually beneficial  cooperation and strengthening strategic partnership. The document was  signed on August 13 by AMX CEO Hayk Yeganyan and Abu Dhabi Securities  Exchange Group CEO Abdul Salem Al Nuami.  ADX Chief Operating Officer  Saker Aslan was also present at the signing of the memorandum. This  was noted in the press release of the Armenian Securities Exchange.

ArmInfo. By the end of 2024, the  area of cultivated land in Armenia will increase by more than 14  thousand hectares. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy of  the Republic of Armenia Tatevik Sargsyan at a press conference on  August 13.
