ArmInfo. Armenia's industrial sector in January-August 2024 achieved double-digit 13.7% growth  compared to a 0.1% decline a year earlier, providing a volume of AMD  1.9 trillion ($4.8 billion).

ArmInfo. From January to August 2024, Armenia generated 6,121.2 million kWh of electricity marking a   2.4% increase compared to the same period last year. According to the  Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, in August alone,  electricity production rose by 8.1% to 819.9 million kWh.

A concept paper outlining the creation of a global network of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem will be presented within the framework of the World Congress on Information Technology WCIT2024. This was  stated by Sean  Seah,  the head of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), during the opening ceremony of WCIT2024 in Yerevan on October 5.

ArmInfo.Ardshinbank has joined the Armenian payment and settlement UBPay money transfers system, thanks to which it is possible to carry out international money transfers from Armenia to Russia and receive from Russia, Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Transfers can be made in four currencies: US dollars, Euros, Russian rubles and Armenian drams. The maximum transfer amount when sending from Armenia is 5 million Armenian drams or 500,000 Russian rubles. Transfer time is 5–10 minutes.

ArmInfo. In January-September 2024, Armenia collected revenues in the amount of about 1 trillion  698.6 billion drams, which exceeds the figures for the same period last year by 189.1 billion drams or 12.5%. This is stated in the message of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

The event is organized by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE).  This year, DigiTec will be held from October 4 to 6 at the Meridian  Exhibition Center.
