ArmInfo. The application of state duty on gold export was intended, on the one hand, to address process control issues, and also to increase the revenue for the country's state budget. This was  stated by Gevork Papoyan, RA Minister of Economy, on October 23 during the government session in  the National Assembly of Armenia, in response to a question from  Tadevos Avetisyan, a deputy from the opposition faction "Armenia".

ArmInfo.Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan received Ms. Lesley Akyaa Opoku-Ware, the newly appointed Ambassador of Ghana to Armenia.  As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the parties discussed the most promising areas of economic cooperation between Armenia and Ghana during the meeting. They also talked about export and import opportunities within the framework of economic diversification, as well as potential cooperation in agriculture.

The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia discussed the draft law on ratification of the relevant agreement with the EDB at a plenary session on October 23.

ArmInfo.The reduction of rates in large developed economies is gradually opening the way for developing countries to attract foreign capital. This is stated in the Macro Review of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) published today.
