ArmInfo.The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Armenia with a budget assistance loan of  89.469 million euros. The loan agreement "Fiscal Sustainability and Financial Markets Development Program - Subprogram 2" was signed between the Ministry of Finance and ADB on November 1 of this year,  as noted in the message of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia.  

ArmInfo.The sale of HSBC Bank Armenia (HSBC Armenia) to Ardshinbank is expected to complete on  November 29, 2024. At completion of the transaction, HSBC Armenia will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Ardshinbank and will be renamed Ardshininvestbank CJSC, as noted in the statement of HSBC Bank Armenia.

ArmInfo. Armenian companies will be able to enter the Warsaw Stock Exchange with an IPO through cross- or dual listing mechanisms. This was reported to ArmInfo by Grzegorz Kucharski, the representative of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) on the board of the Armenian Stock Exchange (AMX), answering a question  about the possibilities of Armenian companies entering the European capital market.

ArmInfo.There are no plans to implement Universal Health Insurance (UHI) in Armenia in 2025.  Minister of Finance of Armenia Vahe Hovhannisyan stated this in parliament on November 1, noting that there is no corresponding expenditure item in the draft budget for the following year.

ArmInfo.The launched program "Irrigated Agriculture Development in Ararat and Armavir Provinces"  (IADAAM) will open a new page for the agricultural sector, contributing to the implementation of reforms in the field of irrigation. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Arman Khojoyan at the launch of the program in Yerevan on October 31.

Armenia's nominal GDP in 2024 will be 10 trillion 110.2 billion drams, or 405.9 billion  drams less than the program indicator, and 125.2 billion drams lower than the indicator projected by the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework for 2025-2027 (MTEF). In 2025, the lag behind the MTEF will continue.

Armenia's gross international reserves (GIR) decreased by 14.2% per annum or $592.2  million to $3.574 billion by October 2024, while a year ago an increase of 11.4% or $426.7 million was recorded. Thus, GIR continues to move away from the historical maximum of $4.2 billion recorded in  August 2023. 

ArmInfo. The Armenian Stock Exchange (AMX) intends to sign an agreement in the coming days to join the Tabadul exchange platform, which belongs to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX). This was told to ArmInfo by the Chairman of the AMX Board of Governors Hayk Yeganyan. 

ArmInfo.Armenian Airlines is launching a flight on the Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan route. This was  stated in a statement by the carrier. According to the source, the flights will begin on December 26 and will continue until January 12. 

ArmInfo. On November 1, Converse Bank began the initial placement of dram and dollar bonds in  the amount of 5 billion drams and $5 million. The initial placement is scheduled to be completed by February 3, 2025. This is noted in the Bank's statement.  

ArmInfo.As of October 20, 2024, the consolidated budget of the Republic of Armenia received 1  trillion 827.7 billion drams in tax revenues, which is 71.6% of the program indicator for the year in the amount of 2 trillion 613.6 billion (24.9% of GDP).

ArmInfo.A meeting was held in Bishkek between the Ambassador of Armenia to Kyrgyzstan (with  residence in Astana) Armen Ghevondyan and the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic Absattar Syrgabayev.
