The real estate market in Armenia continues to be overvalued, as stated by Umang Rawat, the IMF Resident Representative in Armenia, during an event on the fund's report "Caucasus and Central Asia: Economic Outlook and Policy Challenges".  In this context, he noted that according to the IMF and the Central Bank of Armenia, real estate prices in the country could be 30% lower.

ArmInfo.The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has maintained its projected GDP growth for  Armenia in 2024 at 6%, but now expecting a more noticeable slowdown in 2025 to 4.9% (down from the previously announced 5.3%).

ArmInfo.The Armenian authorities plan to assist exporters who utilize air and road  transport by providing partial reimbursement for transportation  expenses. The corresponding program, developed by the RA Ministry of  Economy and the Investment Council of Armenia (IC Armenia), is  available on the unified portal of legal acts e-draft.am.  As stated  in the explanatory note to the document, the government intends to  promote the export of processed goods, expand into new markets and  reduce the influence of transportation expenses on the pricing of  Armenian products.
