ArmInfo. A natural process  of development is currently underway in Armenia's capital market, as  stated by Martin Galstyan, the head of the Central Bank, during a  press conference on December 10. He expressed hope that it will be  better in 2025.  In this vein, he spoke about a separate project with  the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development involving the  overnight rate. Additionally, he mentioned the draft law on the bond  market, which is currently under discussion in the National Assembly.  At the same time, the head of the Central Bank noted that there are  currently no transactions and negotiations at the level that he would  like to highlight in the capital market of Armenia.

ArmInfo. Graham Cook, the  World Travel Awards founder, has praised Armenia's achievements in  tourism. He made this statement during a meeting with Economy  Minister Gevorg Papoyan and Chairperson of the Tourism Committee of  Armenia Lusine Gevorgyan.

According to the press service of  the RA Cabinet of Ministers, the draft has been revised and finalized  several times in working discussions organized by both the parliament  and the executive body following the Prime Minister's instructions  from a previous meeting. The meeting covered the strategy's  objectives, principles, concept and expected results.

ArmInfo. According to the  calculations of the Central Bank of Armenia, the increase in public  transport prices may have an impact of almost 0.5% on inflation. This  was stated by  Martin Galstyan, the Chairman of the Central Bank of  Armenia, during a press conference on December 10. He also noted that  this is the maximum estimate.

ArmInfo. On December 10, the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation kicked off in Yerevan.  As reported by the press service  of the National Assembly of Armenia, the 69th session of the PABSEC  Bureau took place today, chaired by Alen Simonyan, the Speaker of the  National Assembly.  Organizational matters were addressed at the  Bureau session. Additionally, the 64th session of the PABSEC Standing  Committee was held on the same day. The 64th plenary session of the  PABSEC General Assembly is scheduled for December 11, where  discussions will focus on the report "Unblocking as a guarantee of  regional development". 

ArmInfo. Over the past five years, more than 46,000 violations in the field of intellectual  property have been identified in the EAEU, and over 60 million  counterfeit goods have been seized. Bakhyt Sultanov, the EEC Minister  in charge of Economy and Financial Policy, made this statement while  speaking at the plenary session of the Anti-Counterfeiting Forum.

ArmInfo. The Central Bank of  Armenia continues to reduce the refinancing rate, this time also by  0.25 percentage points - from 7.25% to 7%. This is the eighth  reduction in the key rate this year, by a total of 2.25 percentage  points (from 9.25% in December 2023).

The parties discussed opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector.  During the meeting they reviewed data on tourist traffic between Armenia and Romania, dicussed visa issuance processes, and explored tourist preferences. Additionally, they highlighted the potential for developing tourist destinations between the countries. They agreed to take proactive measures to boost mutual tourist flows.
