ArmInfo. The net flow of total foreign investment in the real sector of the Armenian economy decreased in 2024 to a negative $285.6 million (113.3 billion drams) from a positive $479.3 million (194.3 billion drams), a decrease of 2.6 times year-on-year. This is evidenced by data from the RA Statistical Committee, which defines net flow as the variance between attracted and repaid foreign investments.

ArmInfo. In January-February 2025, Armenia's industrial sector experienced a significant shift from its annual dynamics, showing a 19.4% decline compared to the
28.9% growth seen the previous year. This resulted in a decrease of
production volumes to 380.5 billion drams ($961.8 million). The
decline in annual dynamics was observed in both the mining and
manufacturing industries. According to data from the Statistical
Committee of the Republic of Armenia, in February alone, industrial
production volumes decreased by 0.6% to 190 billion drams ($480.1
million).

ArmInfo. From March 31 to April 4, 2025, Armenian interbank foreign exchange market saw daily dollar transactions and only two ruble transactions, with no euro transactions recorded. This led to a shift in the weekly trend, with transactions going from a 31% increase to an 18% decline, while ruble transactions continued to decline, albeit at a slower rate from 30.3% to 17.4%. As a result, dollar transactions remained dominant over ruble transactions for the week with a 2.5 higher volume. In the intra-bank foreign exchange market during the reporting week (31.03-04.04.25 compared to 24-28.03.25) there was no increase in dollar purchases along with a decrease in sales, while euro grew despite a slower decline in sales. Ruble transactions saw a faster decline in purchases and an increase in sales compared to the previous week.
