ArmInfo. Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan, and Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, participated in a roundtable discussion in The Hague on  the prospects for exporting Armenian flowers to the European market.

ArmInfo.  Ameriabank and the OPEC Fund for International Development (The OPEC Fund) signed a USD 50 million loan agreement. The agreement was signed during OPEC Fund Development Forum 2026 in Vienna, which also marked the 50th anniversary of the institution.

ArmInfo.Converse Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) have signed a financing agreement of up to USD 15 million aimed at expanding access to finance for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Armenia, including women-led businesses, and promoting sustainable investments. 

ArmInfo. The restrictions imposed in June by Rosselkhoznadzor on fish imports from Armenia will not affect the supply of this product to the Russian market and will not lead to price increases, according to the Fish Union. This was reported by INTERFAX.RU.

ArmInfo.Russia has expanded restrictions on imports of fish products from Armenia, temporarily suspending certification of products from two more Armenian companies until they resolve previously identified violations. Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) told TASS. Thus, all imports of fish products from Armenia have been suspended.

ArmInfo. On June 25, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, held a meeting with exporters. Deputy Minister Anushik Avetyan also took part in the meeting, the press service of the Ministry of Economy reported.

On June 25, the head of the Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia, Tigran Petrosyan, received Rishan Chaudhry, the USDA agricultural trade representative at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara; Demnu Dzirkvadze, senior agricultural specialist (USDA) at the U.S. Embassy in Georgia; and Edward Eichler, head of the Economic and Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.

ArmInfo. Armenia’s two largest QR payment systems, IdramNet and ArcaQR, are joining forces to enable interoperability between their networks. As a result, Idram users will now be able to make fast and convenient payments by simply scanning ArcaQR codes directly through the Idram&IDBank app.

ArmInfo.  One of the key issues on the agenda of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen's visit will be the possibility of facilitating access for Armenian  agricultural products to EU markets. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan stated this while answering journalists' questions.

ArmInfo. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, chaired a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Development Bank. The results of the organization's activities for 2025 were reviewed and a new Development Strategy for the bank for 2027–2031 was approved.

ArmInfo.  Armenia needs to revisit the issue of quality standards, as their absence in many areas is damaging the country's credibility. RA Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan stated this at a government meeting on June 25.

ArmInfo.On June 27, at the  initiative of ARM.IND GROUP, an Armenian company that promotes  business, cultural, educational, and tourism cooperation between  Armenia and India, a business meeting will be held to establish  contacts between Indian and Armenian entrepreneurs.

ArmInfo. The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is based on four basic principles: free movement of goods, services, labor, and finance. If there is no free flow, then  there is no EAEU.

ArmInfo.  The RA government will allocate an additional 10 billion drams to pay cashback on non-cash purchases for pensioners. The decision was made at the Cabinet  meeting on June 25.

ArmInfo. In Armenia, the industrial price index increased significantly in January-May 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, from 102.1% to 108.9%.

ArmInfo. Armenia will receive an 80 million euro loan from the OPEC Fund for International Development, which will be used to fill the country's state budget  deficit. The decision to this effect was made at a government meeting  on June 25.
