ArmInfo. AraratBank has joined the International Youth Day celebrations taking place worldwide today. With the Bank's support, a tent camp has been organized for 260 young people from Yerevan and the regions Armenia in the area adjacent to the picturesque village of Gargar in Lori. ArmInfo.In 2024, Armenia imported 316,000 tons of wheat, which is 8.1% lower than the same period last year.  99.9% of the wheat was imported from the Russian  Federation, with the remaining volume coming from Belarus and  Slovakia. The customs value of imported wheat for the reporting year  decreased by 3.3% - to $ 60.7 million, according to data from the  Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  In 2024, Armenia reduced car imports by 63% (compared to an 86.3% increase in 2023),  bringing the total to 32.1 thousand units. Accordingly, the customs  value also decreased - by 60.5% to $ 520 million, as evidenced by   data from the Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  Specialist inspectors of the Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia (FSSI) and the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the  Russian Federation (Rosselkhoznadzor) have been conducting joint  online video monitoring in the greenhouses of companies engaged in  growing flowers in Armenia for a month and a half.

ArmInfo.  According to the results of 2024, Armenia increased sugar imports by 41.6% to 97.9 thousand tons. The customs value increased by 36.8%, amounting to $57  million. ArmInfo. In 2024, Armenia increased its copper ore exports by 20.4% - to 341.5 thousand tons (compared to a 20.4% decline in 2023). The customs value of copper ore also saw a 15.5% increase, totaling $558.3 million, as evidenced  by data from the Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.In 2024, Armenia reduced its aluminum foil exports by 20% (compared to a 22.5% decline in 2023), resulting in a supply volume of 20.3 thousand tons.   According to data from the Customs Service of the Republic of  Armenia, the customs value of exported aluminum foil also decreased  by 21.4% to $68.6 million.

ArmInfo. In 2024, Armenia saw a slight increase  in its natural gas imports, rising by 0.1% to 2,728,077.4 cubic meters, with a  0.5%  increase in customs value to  472.3 million. To  According to data from of the RA Customs Service,  traditionally, the majority of  (83.8%) of natural gas was supplied  to Armenia from Russia.  Specifically, during the reported period,  2,288,457 cubic meters of natural gas were imported from the Russian  Federation, showing a  3.1% annual volume decrease and a 2.8% decline  in customs value to $397.8 million. The remaining 439,620 cubic  meters  was supplied from Iran, with an annual growth of 20.5%. At  the same time, the customs value increased by 22.5% to $30.4 million.
