ArmInfo. The Yerevan Municipality has developed a bill on fines for individuals violating the public transport reform process. According to the press secretary of the Yerevan Mayor Hayk Kostanyan, the fines will affect three groups of individuals: those who do not pay for public transport, those who pay for others with their ticket package, and those who, having an annual ticket package, do not use it for payment.

Of this volume, over 50% (15 thousand  tons) was exported, as stated by Gor Grigoryan, Director of the Union  of Fish Farmers of Armenia, during a press conference on March 13.

ArmInfo. According to the  authoritative international magazine Global Finance, Converse Bank  has been named the winner in the category "Best Bank in Armenia in  Trade Finance" for 2025 ("Best Trade Finance Provider 2025 in  Armenia"). As ArmInfo was informed by the bank's press service,  Converse Bank has received this award for  the sixth consecutive  year.  The award ceremony was held in Amsterdam, within the framework  of the "BAFT Europe Bank-2025" forum, where the  Bank was represented  by its Financial Director and Deputy General Director, Grant  Hakobyan.  Akopyan expressed gratitude for the high assessment of  Converse Bank's activities in  trade finance and noted:  "This not  only testifies to the success and efficiency of the Bank's work in  this area, but also stimulates innovative solutions and ongoing  developments, that will allow us to continue  maintaining leading  positions in trade finance."

Armenia`s government rejects "Hayastan" faction`s proposal to set minimum pension at cost of monthly food basket

ArmInfo. On March 13, the Armenian government turned down a social legislative put forth by the opposition  "Hayastan" parliamentary faction. The proposed aimed to ensure that  starting from January 1, 2026, the minimum pension could not be less than the monthly cost of the food basket, and the average labor pension would not be lower than the monthly cost of the consumer basket.

ArmInfo. The Armenian government, as part of  the agricultural insurance program, is ready to reimburse insurance payments for the 2025 agricultural year and offer agricultural entrepreneurs a subsidy  of up to 80% (inclusive) of the insurance premium specified in the insurance contract. The Ministry of Economy's  initiative was approved on March 13 during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Armenia`s Territorial Administration Ministry approved 32 subsidy programs totaling 8.86 billion drams

ArmInfo. During the meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for  evaluating applications for subsidizing projects for the development of community infrastructures in Armenia, 64 programs worth 25.06 billion drams were reviewed. Out of this amount, 13.2 billion drams were co-financed from the state budget of the Republic of Armenia. This information was shared by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, David Khudatyan, on his Facebook page Specifically, he reported that after thorough discussions, 32 subsidy programs totaling 8.86 billion drams were approved, with 4.25 billion drams being co-financed by the state. The discussion on 28 projects was postponed, while 4 projects  did not receive approval from the Commission.
