ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan assures that Armenia is transforming from a  country on the periphery  of the world into a state occupying a central position. He made this announcement  on February 12 at a meeting with participants of the "Youth for Armenia's Knowledge-Based Future" event, part of the "Yerevan Sustainable Energy Days."

ArmInfo. Armenia's information and telecommunications technology (ICT) sector saw a  15.3% increase in  revenue  in 2025 (compared to 17.3% growth in 2024), generating over 1.1 trillion drams ($3.1 billion), according to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  Armenia is introducing an electronic registry of tourism service providers. As a result, only those registered in this electronic system will be able to work in the tourism sector. The initiative was approved by the government at a meeting on February 12.

ArmInfo.  Resident citizens of Armenia filing a comprehensive income tax return will be able to take advantage of social credits-an opportunity to reimburse social expenses from their income tax-only after submitting an annual income tax return (declaration) certified with an electronic signature to  the tax authority. The system adjustments will not end there. The  decision was approved at a government meeting on February 12.

ArmInfo.  Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Gevorg Mantashyan received a delegation led by Bolat Imanbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  Armenia is amending the Financing Agreement for the "Armenia - Development of Irrigated Agriculture in the Ararat and Armavir Regions" project. The proposal to sign Addendum No. 3 to Financing Agreement No. CAM 1002 06 D dated April 23, 2020, between the Republic of Armenia and the French Development Agency was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on February 12.

ArmInfo. As part of the North-South Road Corridor construction project, several land plots in the Meghri community of Armenia's Syunik region have been  recognized as a priority public interest, as  reported by the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure. The  decision has been submitted for public discussion.

Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan received representatives of the American company Shield AI, led by Chris  Brinkley, the company's Senior Director of International Business Development and Strategy.  According to the press service of the  ministry, the discussion focused on  prospects for cooperation in the defense industry, the application of autonomous software platforms,  the exchange of expertise, and research and development programs.

ArmInfo. There are opportunities to extend the operating period of Unit 2 of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant for another 10 years beyond 2036, as  stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government session on February 11.

ArmInfo.The Central Bank of Armenia has set maximum commission fee limits for cashless payments made through physical POS terminals: 0.5% for ArCa cards and 0.9% for Visa and MC cards, as noted in a statement issued by the Central Bank of Armenia, which specified that these limits apply to  businesses with an annual turnover of up to 150 million drams.

ArmInfo. Grain deliveries to Armenia through Azerbaijan via the Russian Railways network have become regular, as stated by Sergei Pavlov, First Deputy  Chairman of Russian Railways, at the final board meeting.

There is virtually no road or railway whose unblocking has not been discussed as part of the unblocking of communications, as stated by Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan  during government hour on February 11, when responding to a question about whether the restoration of the railway  section linking Ijevan with the Azerbaijani railway was discussed during the TRIPP project discussions.

ArmInfo. Team Telecom Armenia (Telecom Armenia CJSC) subscribers can now pay for services using the IDBank app, selecting IDBank accounts (current, savings, and card) or the Rocket Line digital installment plan as the payment source, according to the Team Telecom Armenia press service.
