ArmInfo. Almost the entire  flow of counterfeit and fake goods passes through Georgia in transit, as  noted  in a statement by the International Anti-Counterfeit Association. According to their estimates, around  60% of all counterfeit, low-quality goods from these countries pass through Georgia, including alcohol, clothing, footwear, dietary supplements, plant protection products and other consumer goods. To address this  issue, the Anti-Counterfeit Association is collaborating with the Georgian-Russian Business Association.

ArmInfo. In Q1 2025, the net inflow of private transfers to Armenia decreased by 48.4% per annum  (compared to a decline of 49.6% the previous year), totaling $143.6 million. Specifically, the inflow increased by 4.7% to $1.3 billion, while the outflow rose by 20.5% to $1.1 billion, according to data from the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) will present an international report on  biodiversity management (TNFD) at the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP-17). Armen Stepanyan, ZCMC Director for Sustainable Development (CSO - Chief  Sustainability Officer), said this in response to a question from an ArmInfo correspondent on the sidelines of the Conference on Sustainable Development, held in Yerevan on May 15.

ArmInfo. Inecobank will receive $15 million under  the EBRD Green Economy Financing Facility. The loan will be used to support small businesses and corporate clients in investing in green  technologies.

ArmInfo. Intensive development of solar energy in Armenia is not a problem in itself, the problem arises when it is done without technical calculation, without a long-term market strategy, says energy expert, Doctor of  Political Sciences Vahe Davtyan.
