ArmInfo. Armenia's industry has demonstrated steady growth in recent years, as stated by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on July 6 during the plenary session of the INNOPROM-2026 exhibition in Yekaterinburg.

ArmInfo.  In Armenia, annual inflation accelerated to 5.1% in June 2026, up from 3.9% a year ago. This was driven by a more pronounced increase in food prices - 8.5%  (compared to 6.2% last year), a less noticeable increase in services  - 2.4% (compared to 3.5% last year). At the same time, non-food  prices increased by 2.3% (compared to a 0.2% decrease the previous  year). This is according to data from the RA Statistical Committee.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian government, represented by its Investment Committee, has approved a $650 million investment package for the implementation of three major  infrastructure projects in Yerevan, including the construction of the  Ajapnyak metro station. Mayor Tigran announced this during a meeting  of the Yerevan Council of Elders on June 6.

ArmInfo.  Armenia must determine its foreign policy vector.  Vladimir Avanesov, Doctor of Political Science and Head of the Middle and Post-Soviet East Department at the  Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian  Academy of Sciences, stated this on the sidelines of the conference  "Energy Security of the South Caucasus: Armenia's Choice," in  response to a request to forecast the price of Russian gas after  April 2027, when the gas agreement between Armenia and Russia  expires.

ArmInfo.  The net inflow of private transfers to Armenia in January-May 2026 showed a significant annual increase of 2.4 times (from a 41.4% decline a year ago), reaching  $1.1 billion. A similar, albeit relatively moderate, reversal in  annual dynamics was also recorded for the net inflow of  non-commercial transfers - from a 48.8% decline to a 48% increase.  The share of non- commercial transfers in the total net inflow  decreased over the year from 46% to 28% (compared to 52% two years  ago). This is evidenced by data from the Central Bank of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  According to data from the Central Bank of Armenia, the country's Gross International Reserves (GIR) continue to demonstrate strong growth, reaching a  record high of $5.863 billion as of June 2026, while the growth  recorded during the same period in 2025 was more modest, at 21.1%  ($678.8 million), bringing the reserves to $3.897 billion at that  time. In May alone, GIR increased slightly - by 2.4% (or $138.9  million), against a decline of 0.5% (or $18.9 million) a year earlier  in the same month. Over the 5 months of this year, GIR increased by  15.3% (or $776.3 million), while a more modest growth of 5.7% (or  $211.4 million) was recorded a year ago for the same period.

ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia reports that, in connection with amendments and additions to the Tax Code, effective July 1 of this  year, taxpayers who have not submitted VAT declarations and  registered as VAT payers for 2022-2025 are now able to register as  VAT payers and make VAT payments for those years.

ArmInfo. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is set to launch a new AMD 5 billion floating-rate bond issuance in the Armenian capital market, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the development of local currency financing and deepening Armenia’s financial markets.

The RA government has approved a draft law  establishing criteria for the qualification of organizations managing  tourist destinations, the procedure for issuing certificates, and the  basic requirements for their activities.
