ArmInfo.  In Armenia, annual inflation accelerated to 5.1% in June 2026, up from 3.9% a year ago. This was driven by a more pronounced increase in food prices - 8.5%  (compared to 6.2% last year), a less noticeable increase in services  - 2.4% (compared to 3.5% last year). At the same time, non-food  prices increased by 2.3% (compared to a 0.2% decrease the previous  year). This is according to data from the RA Statistical Committee.

RA government approves $650mln infrastructure package for Yerevan,  including Ajapnyak metro station construction

ArmInfo.  The net inflow of private transfers to Armenia in January-May 2026 showed a significant annual increase of 2.4 times (from a 41.4% decline a year ago), reaching  $1.1 billion. A similar, albeit relatively moderate, reversal in  annual dynamics was also recorded for the net inflow of  non-commercial transfers - from a 48.8% decline to a 48% increase.  The share of non- commercial transfers in the total net inflow  decreased over the year from 46% to 28% (compared to 52% two years  ago). This is evidenced by data from the Central Bank of Armenia.

Armenia`s gross international reserves reach record high of $5.863  billion by June 2026

ArmInfo.  According to data from the Central Bank of Armenia, the country's Gross International Reserves (GIR) continue to demonstrate strong growth, reaching a  record high of $5.863 billion as of June 2026, while the growth  recorded during the same period in 2025 was more modest, at 21.1%  ($678.8 million), bringing the reserves to $3.897 billion at that  time. In May alone, GIR increased slightly - by 2.4% (or $138.9  million), against a decline of 0.5% (or $18.9 million) a year earlier  in the same month. Over the 5 months of this year, GIR increased by  15.3% (or $776.3 million), while a more modest growth of 5.7% (or  $211.4 million) was recorded a year ago for the same period.
