ArmInfo.Armenia's GDP growth in 2026 is projected to be 5.4%, with a deflator of 3%, and a deficit of 4.5%. "The budget is clearly an investment in human  capital," as stated by Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan  during a  regular meeting on September 25, when presenting the country's draft  state budget for the upcoming year. 

ArmInfo.Armenia's economic growth moderated from 5.9 per cent in 2024 to 5.5 per cent year on year in the first half of 2025, as the exceptional post2022 boom  faded, and industry contracted. ArmInfo. The powers of the  National Institute of Metrology of Armenia will be clarified and  expanded. Corresponding amendments will be made to the RA Law on  Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements.  Presenting the legislative  amendments during a meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee  on Economic Affairs, Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Hovakimyan  noted that the National Institute of Metrology will be granted  additional functions. In addition to storing and maintaining national  standards, its responsibilities will also include new areas of  activity, including the examination of equipment related to precious  metals, as well as the creation of a metrology council.
