ArmInfo. In July 2025, the consumer market in Armenia experienced inflation of 3.4%, a significant increase from the  1.4%  inflation recorded in July 2024.  This rise in prices was  primarily driven  by increases in prices for  food and services. Over the first seven months of 2025, inflation  reached 0.6% (compared to last year's deflation of 1.3% in the same  period), which was also the result of higher prices for services with  slightly cheaper food and non-food products.

ArmInfo.  In Armenia, during the first half of 2025, foreign citizens conducted 1,820 transactions for the  purchase and sale of real estate, which represents a  4.7% increase from the previous year. Moreover, of the total number of  transactions, 6.8% were made by foreigners (compared to 6.4% the year  before), as evidenced by data from the State Committee of Real Estate  Cadastre of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo. In Armenia, the economic growth rate in the first half of 2025 slowed down to 6.3% annually (down from 10.4% in the same period of 2024). Moreover, the industrial sector, which was one of the growth drivers the previous year, has weakened, resulting in a current double-digit decline in  overall economic growth. Final data from the RA Statistical Committee  also show  a negative shift in foreign trade trends, moving from  substantial growth to a significant decline. 

ArmInfo.  In the regions of Armenia, real estate purchase and sale transactions in the first half of 2025 were in a double-digit decline. According to the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia, real estate  purchase and sale transactions in the regions during the reporting  period decreased by 11.5% per annum, and by 18.5% over the six  months, amounting to 16,940.

ArmInfo.  The Central Bank of Armenia still keeps the refinancing rate at 6.75%. This decision was made on August 5 at a meeting of the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia.

ArmInfo. The average market price of real estate in apartment buildings in Yerevan in the first half of 2025 amounted to 462.4 thousand drams / 1 sq. m., with an annual growth of 0.9%, and a decline of 1.1% over the half-year. This  is evidenced by the data of the State Committee of the Real Estate  Cadastre of Armenia.

The basis for this forecast was the decision of the Russian government, which banned the export of gasoline from the country until August 31 of  this year.

ArmInfo. Arshaluys Harutyunyan, the Department Head of  the Macroeconomic Policy Department at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, along with department employees, held meetings in the Russian Federation with representatives from the Scientific Research Financial Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and colleagues from the Russian Ministry of Finance.

ArmInfo. Armenia's gross international reserves (GIR) increased by 21% per annum or $693.2 million to $4.047 billion by July 2025, while a year ago a decline of 14.2% or $555 million was recorded. Thus, GIR began to approach the historical maximum of $4.2 billion, recorded in August 2023. This is  evidenced by data from the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  In order to ensure its activities and fulfill its obligations, Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC (ENA) plans to hold an open tender for the purchase of design services in the energy sector (cable and overhead power lines, construction of substations and creation of other engineering  infrastructure).
