In the first half of 2025, the bank transferred 27.27 billion AMD to the state budget in direct taxes. This figure was made possible thanks to a significant increase in profit tax and income tax.

ArmInfo. In Armenia, in the first half of 2025, the service sector saw an acceleration in its annual growth rate from 4.4% to 9.8%, reaching 1.8 trillion drams ($4.6 billion). According to data from of the RA Statistics Committee, in June alone, the volume of services provided increased by 1.3%, totaling 322.8 billion drams ($840.2 million). The increase in the growth rate was mainly driven by improvements in the leading information and communication and real estate sectors, as well as the maintenance of growth several areas since previous year.

The top-5 countries in foreign trade with Armenia are Russia, China, UAE, Iran and Germany, with a total volume of $6.3 billion, four of these countries reduced their volumes in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024 - Russia by 54.8%, China by 15%, UAE by 69.4%, and Germany by 3.3%. This is despite the fact that a year ago the Russian Federation, China and UAE demonstrated significant growth, while Germany was experiencing a more pronounced decline.

ArmInfo. The volume of cargo transportation in Armenia in the first half of 2025 amounted to 7,580.1 thousand tons, with an annual growth of 1.9% (against a 16.8% decline a year earlier). This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee. The growth in the total volume of cargo transportation is due to the improvement in the dynamics of rail freight transportation - from a 57.9% decline to a 27.6% growth, with a volume of 735.9 thousand tons, as well as the continued growth of air cargo transportation - by 8.7% (against 13.8% growth a year earlier), with a volume of 18.8 thousand tons. An increase in volumes was also recorded in the supply of natural gas via the main pipeline - by 1.7% (against a decline of 8.2% the previous year) to 989.5 thousand tons.
